Sierra Boggess to Be Featured on Rodgers & Hammerstein at The Movies CD

Sierra Boggess will be featured on the forthcoming CD Rodgers & Hammerstein at the Movies. The album will be released by EMI & Virgin Classics in October.
Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London, the disc will feature John Wilson and The John Wilson Orchestra. Boggess sings “I Have Confidence” from The Sound of Music on the CD.
The actress starred on Broadway in the title role of The Little Mermaid, for which she received a Drama Desk nomination. She originated the lead role of Christine in the London production of Love Never Dies, and has also played the same role in The Phantom of the Opera. As previously reported, she will soon join the West End production of Les Miserables in the role of Fantine.
The CD will also include songs from Carousel, The King and I, Oklahoma! and South Pacific.
