Michael Boyd, Kenneth Branagh, Kate Winslet Receive Queen’s Birthday Honours

Queen Elizabeth II has announced her list of 2012 birthday honours.

Among the many entertainment personalities who have been recognized this year are, Royal Shakespeare Company artistic director Michael Boyd, award-winning actor and director Kenneth Branagh, and Oscar and Emmy Award winner Kate Winslet.

Other notable figures who were recognized include actress Jenny Agutter, playwright Kwame Kwei-Armah, singer and television personality Gary Barlow, English National Opera music director Edward Gardner, film director Sally Potter, actress Amanda Redman, and songwriter Richard Stilgoe.
