David Tennant and Emily Watson will star in the BBC Two series The Politician’s Husband, according to Deadline.com.

In the three-part series, the balance of power in a political marriage is shifted when a wife becomes more successful than her husband. The series is a follow-up to Paula Milne’s BAFTA-winning The Politician’s Wife, which starred Minnie Driver in 1995. Simon Cellan Jones directs.

Tennant is best known for his work on the series Dr. Who and has been seen on stage in Hamlet and Much Ado About Nothing. Watson has been seen in the films Hilary and Jackie and Punch-Drunk Love, among others.
