Ray Meagher to Play Mechanic Bob in West End’s Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical

Ray Meagher will once again play the role of mechanic Bob in Priscilla Queen of the Desert The Musical, playing at the West End’s Palace Theatre, beginning on October 5.

Meagher has previously played the role in the West End and Australia. His other stage credits include many pantomimes throughout the U.K., including Captain Hook in Peter Pan at Tumbridge Wells. His film credits include Breaker Morant, The Chamberlain Report, and Mail Order Bride. He may be best known for his portrayal of Alf Stewart in the long running Australian soap Home and Away.

He joins a company that also features joins Don Gallagher (Bernadette), Richard Grieve (Tick) and Oliver Thornton (Adam).

Based on the Oscar-winning film and written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott, Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical has been directed by Simon Phillips and has choreography by Ross Coleman.
