Derbhle Crotty, Frank Laverty, Rosaleen Linehan, Johnny Ward Set for Young Vic’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane

The Young Vic has announced complete casting for Martin McDonagh’s The Beauty Queen of Leenane, to run July 20 – September 3. Joe Hill-Gibbins will direct the production.

The play examines the unhappy relationship of a manipulative woman and her lonely spinster daughter, who’s longing for romance. The company will feature, as previously announced, Rosaleen Linehan, along with Derbhle Crotty, Frank Laverty and Johnny Ward.

The creative team will include production designer Ultz, lighting designer Charles Balfour and sound designer Paul Arditti.
