The producers of Leslie Jordan’s My Trip Down the Pink Carpet, currently running at the Midtown Theater through July 3, have announced plans for a West End engagement in London for early 2011. Theater and exact dates will be forthcoming.

The solo show, directed by David Galligan, is a theatrical romp — from small-town USA to the pink carpet of Hollywood — that tells the unlikely but true-life tale of one of America’s gay icons.

Jordan is best known for his Emmy-winning role as Beverley Leslie on Will & Grace, and for his work in writer Del Shores’ Sordid Lives. His other film and television credits include Boston Legal, Ally McBeal, Murphy Brown, and Monk
