Matthew Kelly, Laura Pyper, Paul Stocker, et al. Set for Globe’s Troilus & Cressida

Casting has been announced for London’s Globe Theatre’s production of William Shakespeare’s Troilus & Cressida, according to Whatsonstage.com. The production, which will run July 12- September 20, will be directed by Matthew Dunster.

Laura Pyper and Paul Stocker will play the title roles, alongside Matthew Kelly (Pandarus), Jamie Ballard (Ulysses), Paul Hunter (Thersites), Trystan Gravelle (Achilles), and Ben Bishop, Olivia Chaney, Chris Colquhoun, Matthew Flynn, Richard Hansell, Fraser James, Seamus O’Neill, Ania Sowinski, John Stahl, Jay Taylor, Beru Tessema, and Chinna Wodu.

The theater’s 2009 season also includes Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet with Adetoniwa Eduan and Ellie Kendrick in the title roles; Che Walker’s The Frontline; Thea Sharrock’s production of As You Like It; Trevor Grifiths’ A Life of Thomas Paine; Frank McGuiness’ adaptation of Euripides’ Helen, starring Penny Downie; and Love’s Labours Lost.
