Finding Neverland Musical to Have World Premiere at Curve Theatre, Leicester
The stage musical adaptation of the film Finding Neverland will receive its world premiere as part of Leicester’s Curve Theatre, running September 21-October 18.
Featuring a score by Scott Frankel and Michael Korie, and a book by Alan Knee (adapted from his play The Man Who Was Peter Pan), the musical is based on the 2004 film of the same title, which explores the life of author J.M. Barrie, his relationship with widow Sylvia Liewellyn Davies and her four children, and the creation of his novel The Adventures of Peter Pan.
Rob Ashford directs and choreographs the production, for which casting will be announced. The production is produced by Harvey Weinstein.
