Caroline Sheen will play Fantine in the West End production of Les Miserables, at the Queen’s Tehatre, beginning June 23, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. As previously reported, that same date will also mark the principal cast additions of Alfie Boe as Valjean, Hadley Fraser as Javert, and Matt Lucas as Thernadier.

Sheen previously appeared in Les Miserables as Eponine in 2001. She has played numerous leading roles in West End and UK productions, with credits including The Light in the Piazza, Once in a Lifetime, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Grease, The Witches of Eastwick, and Mamma Mia!
