Richard Fleeshman to Play Warner Huntington III in West End Legally Blonde

Richard Fleeshman will assume the role of Warner Huntington III in Legally Blonde The Musical playing at the West End’s Savoy Theatre on June 16. He will be taking over from Duncan James, whose final performance will be June 14.

Fleeshman may be best known for his work on the television series Coronation Street and All the Small Things. As a musician, he was the youngest contestant to win ITV’s Stars in Their Eyes Celebrity Special, and as a recording artist, Fleeshman has released the album Neon, along with singles such as “Coming Down,” “Hold Me Close,” “Back Here” and “Can You Hear Me?”

He will be joining a cast which also includes Sheridan Smith (Elle Woods), Jill Halfpenny (Paulette), Peter Davison (Professor Callahan) and Alex Gaumond (Emmett) as well as Emma Bateman (Stenographer), Dan Burton (Padamadan, Nikos), Darren Carnall (Kiki), Chris Ellis-Stanton (Grandmaster Chad, Dewey, Kyle), Nadine Higgin (Judge, Saleswoman), Ibinabo Jack (Pilar), Caroline Keiff (Vivienne Kensington), Amy Lennox (Margot), Suzie McAdam (Enid), Andy Mace (Dad, Winthrop, Reporter), Susan McFadden (Serena), Matthew McKenna (Aaron), Sorelle Marsh (Courtney, Mom, Whitney), Aoife Mulholland (Brooke), Sean Mulligan (Pforzheimer), Roxanne Palmer (Kate, Chutney), Sergio Priftis (Carlos), Tamara Wall (District Attorney) and Ed White (Lowell).

Directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, Legally Blonde The Musical has music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, book by Heather Hach. The creative team includes David Rockwell (scenic design), Gregg Barnes (costume design), Kenneth Posner and Paul Miller (lighting design) and ACME Sound Partners (sound design).
