Michael Sheen to Star in Young Vic’s Hamlet in 2011

Michael Sheen will play the title role in Ian Rickson’s new production of William Shakespeare’s Hamlet, which will play the Young Vic in 2011. No other information is currently available.
Sheen’s many stage credits include Frost/Nixon, Amadeus, and Henry V.He also starred in the film version of Frost/Nixon as well as Twilight: New Moon and The Queen. He will soon be seen in the HBO movie The Special Relationship with Dennis Quaid and Hope Davis.
Rickson is the former artistic director of the Royal Court Theatre. He recently directed the Broadway productions of The Seagull and Hedda Gabler.
