Janet Suzman stars in Craig Higginson’s Dream of the Dog, which will transfer from the Finborough Theatre to Trafalgar Studio 2 on Wednesday, May 26. Katie McAleese has directed the production, which will run through June 19.

The play is set in South Africa, shortly after the millennium, where an elderly white couple is packing up to leave the farm they’ve sold to developers. But their preparations are interrupted by the arrival of a young man who used to be one of the black workers on their estate until he disappeared fifteen years ago.

The company also features Ariyon Bakare, Gracy Goldman and Bernard Kay. Suzman is best known for her Oscar-nominated turn in Nicholas and Alexandra and she received a BAFTA nomination for her work in the BBC-TV production of Antony & Cleopatra.
