George Bukhari, James Clay, Sam Clemmett, et al. Set for Open Air Theatre’s Lord of the Flies

Casting has been announced for the Nigel Williams’ stage adaptation of William Golding’s novel Lord of the Flies, to run May 19 – June 18 at the Open Air Theatre, Regent’s Park. Timothy Sheader and Liam Steel will co-direct the production.

The story centers on a group of boys, who stranded on a desert island, find themselves succumbing to their darker instincts and primal urges. The company will feature George Bukhari (Piggy), James Clay (Jack), Sam Clemmett (Bill), Theo Cowan (Henry), Matt Ingram (Roger), Jordan Maxwell (Maurice), James McConville (Sam), Stuart Matthews (Eric), Alistair Toovey (Ralph) and Joshua Williams (Simon). In addition, Harrison Sansostri, Spike White and Adam Thomas Wright will alternate in the role of of Perceval.

The creative team will include Jon Bausor (production design), Nick Powell (original music and sound score), James Farncombe (lighting design), and Mike Walker (sound design).
