Douglas Henshall, Ben Miles, Kristin Scott Thomas to Star in Harold Pinter’s Betrayal in London

Douglas Henshall, Ben Miles, and Kristin Scott Thomas will star in a revival of Harold Pinter’s Betrayal, to run May 27-August 20 at the West End’s Comedy Theatre. Ian Rickson will direct the production.

The play follows a long-term, multi-year affair involving a married couple, Emma and Robert, and Robert’s close friend Jerry, who is also married.

Henshall has been seen on stage in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, The Cryptogram, Death of a Salesman, The Crucible, and The Coast of Utopia, among others. He may be best known for playing Nick Cutter on the ITV series Primeval.

Miles starred in The Norman Conquests in the U.K. and on Broadway. Among his many other stage credits are Measure for Measure, My Child, Richard II, The Cherry Orchard, The London Cuckolds and Mary Stuart. His film and television credits include Coupling, and The Wings of a Dove.

Thomas won an Olivier Award for her performance in The Seagull, which she also reprised on Broadway. Her other stage credits include As You Desire Me and Three Sisters. She received an Oscar nomination for The English Patient and has also appeared in such films as I’ve Loved You So Long, Tell No One, Gosford Park, The Horse Whisperer, and Nowhere Boy.
