Kim Cattrall, Jeffrey Kissoon to Star in Antony and Cleopatra at Liverpool Playhouse

Jeffrey Kissoon and Kim Cattrall will play the title characters in Shakespeare’s Antony and Cleopatra at the Liverpool Playhouse, October 8 – November 13. Janet Suzman will direct the production, which will feature production design by Peter McKintosh and lighting design by Paul Pyant.

Best known for her work in HBO’s Sex and the City series and the films that have followed, Cattrall is currently starring in a revival of Private Lives in the West End. Among her many other stage credits are Whose Life Is It Anyway?, The Cryptogram, A View From the Bridge, Three Sisters, Miss Julie, The Misanthrope, and Wild Honey.

Kissoon previously played the part of Antony at Liverpool Everyman in 1990. His many other stage credits, at the RSC, National and elsewhere, include Fix It Up, Hamlet, The Free State, As You Like It, Doctor Faustus, Julius Caesar, Life Is a Dream, and Othello.
