Janie Dee, Aden Gillett, and Robert Portal will star in a regional tour of Nancy Mitford’s 1950s comedy The Little Hut, according to Whatsonstage.com. Tim Luscombe will direct the production, which will launch on April 20 from the Greenwich Theatre and also play engagements in Guildford, Windsor and the Rose, Kingston before ending its run on May 15.

The play unfolds on a desert island where a stalwart Englishman is shipwrecked with his elegant wife and her secret lover. Given their situation, the three hatch an unorthodox plan for their time on the island: each man will dwell with her every other week while the other retires to the hut of the play’s title.

Dee and Gillett were last seen on stage together as adulterous lovers in Peter Hall’s revival of Pinter’s Betrayal. Among Dee’s other credits are Calendar Girls and Woman in Mind. Among Gillett’s other credits are the West End production of Mary Poppins. Portal’s previous credits include the 2008 revival of Common Pursuit at Menier Chocolate Factory.
