Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Wizard of Oz Revival to Play London’s Palladium Theatre Beginning March 2011

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s revival of The Wizard of Oz, which will star the winner of his current BBC One competition Over the Rainbow, will begin performances on March 29 at the London Palladium in the West End.
No casting or creative team has been announced for the new production, which is expected to feature new songs specially written for it by Lloyd Webber and lyricist Glenn Slater.
Over the Rainbow has been searching for the actress who will play Dorothy since March 26. The winner will be crowned at the end of May. The judging panel for the show consists of Charlotte Church, John Partridge, and Sheila Hancock.
