As reported by WhatsOnStage.com, Gemma Arterton and Stephen Mangan have been announced as the hosts of the 2014 Olivier Awards to be held on Sunday, April 13, at London's Royal Opera House. The event will feature voice-overs by Olivier Award winner Julie Walters and set design by Es Devlin, designer of the 2012 Olympic closing ceremony and 2014 Olivier nominee for her designs for the West End production of Chimerica.

Both Arterton and Mangan have enjoyed careers on stage and screen. Best known for her film roles in St. Trinian's, Quantum of Solace, Clash of the Titans, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters of Byzantium, Arterton made her stage debut in 2007 in Shakespeare's Love's Labour's Lost at the Globe Theatre in 2007. She appeared this past January in The Duchess of Malfi at the new Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, and in fall 2014 she will star in the new musical Made in Dagenham.

Mangan earned a Tony nomination and a Drama Desk Award for his performance in The Norman Conquests in 2009. He can currently be seen on the West End in the Olivier-nominated comedy Jeeves & Wooster in Perfect Nonsense.
