Danielle Hope, Tam Mutu, Geronimo Rauch to Join West End’s Les Miserables

Updated casting has been announced for Les MIserables, running at the Queen’s Theatre in the West End, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com.

On June 18, Geronimo Rauch will assume the role of Jean Valjean, Tam Mutu will assume the role of Javert, and Danielle Hope will take over the role of Eponine.

Rauch has previously played the role of Valjean in Les Miserables in Barcelona. In addition, he has played the roles of Feuilly and Marius in Les Misérables in his native Argentina, and he took part in the 25th Anniversary celebration of the show at the 02 Arena in 2010.

Hope starred as Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz at the London Palladium, after winning the BBC reality series Over the Rainbow. Mutu’s stage credits include Love Never Dies, Faustus, The Royal Hunt of the Sun, Love’s Labour’s Lost, and Anything Goes.

Les Miserables has been directed by Trevor Nunn, with John Caird, and designed by John Napier.
