British Actor Andrew Malkin Has Died

British actor Andrew Malkin has died of a heart attack, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. He was 49.


At the time of his death, Malkin had been appearing as an ensemble member in the new stage version of The King’s Speech. In addition, he had been understudying the role of Lionel Logue in the production that was to have marked his West End debut.

Among his other stage credits are fringe and regional productions of The National Theatre, Serve Tea Then Murder, Shakespeare in the Streets, Hamlet, Food for Thought, and A Pinch of Salt.
