Rupert Everett will reprise his performance as Henry Higgins when the Chichester Festival's 2010 revival of George Bernard Shaw's Pygmalion, transfers to the West End's Garrick Theatre, to run May 12 - September 3, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com. Philip Prowse will once again direct the production.

Shaw's comedy focuses on what happens when linguistics professor Higgins works to transform Eliza Doolittle (to be played by Kara Tointon), a common flower girl, into a proper lady. Additional casting will be announced in the near future.

Everett made his Broadway debut in 2009 in a revival of Noel Coward's Blithe Spirit. Among his many film credits are Another Country, My Best Friend's Wedding, Stage Beauty, and The Madness of King George.
