Damian Lewis, Ben Miller, Bhasker Patel, Lucy Sheen, Juliet Stevenson, and Harriet Walter will be among the participants in The Sunday Times Oxford Literary Festival, which will feature more than 550 speakers at Christ Church, Corpus Christi and Merton Colleges, and run April 2-10.

The actors will perform readings of six stories that are competing for The Sunday Times EFG Private Bank Short Story Award 2011, billed as "the world's most valuable short story award."

Programming will also include the Sunday Times EFG Private Bank Short Story Award judges AS Byatt, Will Self, Melvyn Bragg, Daisy Waugh and Andrew Holgate discussing the shortlist and debating what makes a good short story.
