The original cast recording of Benny Andersson, Björn Ulvaeus and Herbert Kretzmer's Kristina will be released by Decca Records on April 12. The two-disc set preserves the performances of the show that were offered at Carnegie Hall last fall.

With music by Andersson and lyrics by Ulvaeus and Kretzmer, the show focuses on the title character and her family's struggle in Sweden which results in their subsequent emigration to America in search of a better life. The company for the concerts and CDs, features Helen Sjöholm, Russell Watson, Louise Pitre and Kevin Odekirk, along with the American Theatre Orchestra and Choir, conducted by Paul Gemignani.

Kristina will have its U.K. premiere immediately following the release of the cast recording, with a one-night-only performance at Royal Albert Hall on April 14.
