London's National Theatre will present the new musical Fela! at the Olivier Theatre beginning Saturday, November 6, with an official opening on Tuesday, November 16.

Sahr Nguajah and Kevin Mambo, who alternate in the title role in the current Broadway production at the Eugene O'Neill Theater, will star in the production, which will otherwise feature an all-British cast for a limited run. The Broadway production will continue its open-ended run.

The show, directed and choreographed by Bill T. Jones, tells the story of Nigerian composer and performer Fela Anikulapo Kuti. The show has a book by Jones and Jim Lewis and additional lyrics by Lewis.

The production will be seen in repertory at the National's Olivier Theatre with a new production of Hamlet, starring Rory Kinnear.
