The Last Cigarette, With Felicity Kendal, Transfers to West End’s Trafalgar Studios

The Chichester Festival production of The Last Cigarette, adapted by Hugh Whitemore and the late Simon Gray from Gray’s The Smoking Diaries, will transfer to the West End’s Trafalgar Studios, April 21-August 1, with an opening on April 28. Richard Eyre will direct.

The production stars Felicity Kendal, Nicholas le Prevost, and Jasper Britton, who all perform as Simon Gray. The creative team includes Rob Howell (design), John Driscoll (lighting and projection), and George Fenton (music).

Kendal’s numerous theatre credits include Jumpers, The Real Thing, Hapgood, Arcadia, Indian Ink, Amy’s View, and Humble Boy. Her television credits include The Good Life and Doctor Who. Le Prevost’s theatre credits include the title role in Uncle Vanya, The Philadelphia Story, and The Wild Duck. Britton appeared in Gray’s Japes and Becket, as well as Bedroom Farce, Fram, and Oedipus.
