Tricycle Theatre Announces Casting for The Bomb

Tricycle Theatre has announced casting for The Bomb – A Partial History in Two Parts, which will officially open February 20 and continue through April 1. Nicholas Kent has directed the production.

As previously reported, Lee Blessing, Ryan Craig, John Donnelly, David Greig, Amit Gupta, Zinnie Harris, Ron Hutchinson, Diana Son and Colin Teevan have contributed plays toward this production, performed in two parts, that traces the political history of the Nuclear Bomb from 1940 to present-day Nuclear proliferation and its implications for the world now.

The company features Nathalie Armin, Paul Bhattacharjee, Simon Chandler, Michael Cochrane, Tariq Jordan, Belinda Lang, Shereen Martin, Daniel Rabin, Simon Rouse, Rick Warden and David Yip.

The creative team includes production designer Polly Sullivan, video designer Douglas O’Connell, lighting designer Howard Harrison, and sound designer Tom Lishman.

In conjunction with the production, the Tricycle is also hosting a festival The Tricycle Goes Nuclear, which will include films, talks, discussions, an education program, and exhibitions.
