Harris Beattie Joins Ryan Collinson, Adam Vesperman in Title Role in West End Company of Billy Elliot

Updated casting has been announced for Billy Elliot the Musical, playing at the West End’s Victoria Palace Theatre.

As of February 22, the role of Billy will be played by new cast member Harris Beattie, along with Ryan Collinson and Adam Vesperman. In addition, Kaine Ward will join the company to alternate the role of Debbie with Francesca Mango and Macy Stasiak.

The other principals in the company will be Gillian Bevan (Mrs. Wilkinson), Deka Walmsley (Dad), Michael Peavoy (Tony), Ann Emery (Grandma), Sean Kearns (George), Kay Milbourne (Dead Mum), Simon Ray Harvey (Mr. Braithwaite), Barnaby Meredith (Older Billy), along with Reece Barrett, Connor Kelly, and Connor Lawson, who alternate the role of Billy’s best friend Michael.

The ensemble includes Craig Armstrong, David Bardsley, Paul Basleigh, Alan Bradshaw, Dawn Buckland, James Butcher, Spencer Cartwright, Lucinda Collins, Jaymz Denning, Gillian Elisa, Helen French, Sergio Giacomelli, Simon Ray Harvey, Kieran Jae, Ian Gareth Jones, Sean Kearns, Connor McAllister, Barnaby Meredith, Kay Milbourne, Steven Paget, Steph Parry, Ryan Pidgen, Dan Reilly and Mike Scott..

Based on the 2000 film of the same name, the show tells the tale of a young boy with a dream of being a dancer. The musical features music by Elton John, book and lyrics by Lee Hall, direction by Stephen Daldry, and choreography by Peter Darling.
