Brian Cox, Stephen Fry, Terry Jones, Stephen Mangan Set for Douglas Adams The Party

A preliminary list of participants has been announced for Douglas Adams The Party, a 60th birthday celebration in honor of the late author Douglas Adams, to be held at the Hammersmith Apollo in London on March 11 at 5pm.

The event will feature some of the finest names in the world of science, comedy, entertainment and music, and include a very special premiere performance of the author’s material.

Among the participants will be Clive Anderson, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Mark Carwardine, Brian Cox, John Culshaw, Stephen Fry, Robin Ince, Terry Jones, Helen Keen, John Lloyd, and Stephen Mangan.

The evening is presented in association with Save The Rhino. Since 2003, the charity has held an annual Douglas Adams Memorial Lecture around the time of his birthday to raise money for environmental campaigns.
