Steadman won an Olivier Award for her work in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice. Among her other stage credits are Blithe Spirit and the original production of Abigail's Party. Her film and television work includes Shirley Valentine, Life Is Sweet, Topsy Turvy, The Singing Detective, Pride and Prejudice, and Gavin & Stacey.
The play centers on a couple beginning to start their lives together in a studio apartment, and examines how their pasts inform their present and how their choices in the present will impact their future. Additional casting will be announced in the near future.
