Mark Moraghan to Join West End’s Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical

Mark Moraghan will assume the role of Bob in the West End production of Priscilla Queen of the Desert the Musical on March 7. As previously reported, Richard Grieve will also join the production on the the 7th, playing the role of Tick.

Based on the Oscar-winning film, and written by Stephan Elliott and Allan Scott and directed by Simon Phillips, Priscilla tells the story of Tick, Bernadette and Adam, a glamorous Sydney-based performing trio who agree to take their show to the middle of the Australian outback. Grieve and Moraghan will join a cast that also stars Don Gallagher as Bernadette and Oliver Thornton as Adam.

Moraghan played Consultant Owen Davies on BBC1’s Holby City for five years. His other television roles include regular roles on Dream Team and Brookside. His theater credits include Our Day Out, Funny Money, Fears and Miseries of the Third Reich, and Strictly Murder. He released his first album Moonlight’s Back In Style in 2009.
