Imogen Stubbs, Simon Robson, Joanna Page, et al. Set for Manchester Royal Exchange’s Private Lives

Imogen Stubbs, Simon Robson, Joanna Page, and Clive Hayward will star in a revival of Noel Coward’s Private Lives, to run February 23 – April 9 at the Manchester Royal Exchange, according to a report in Whatsonstage.com. Michael Buffon will direct the production.

The play focuses on a divorced couple who, when they meet unexpectedly while honeymooning with their new spouses, find their old romance rekindled. The company will also feature Rose Johnson.

Stubbs was recently seen on stage in The Glass Menagerie and in the Hampstead Theatre’s revival of Michael Frayn’s Alphabetical Order. Page is best known for playing Stacey in popular BBC comedy Gavin and Stacey. Among her stage credits is Fat Pig at Trafalgar Studios.

Robson’s stage credits include Pygmalion, The Little Prince and An Ideal Husband. Hayward was recently seen in Rupert Goold’s staging of Earthquakes in London at the National Theatre.
