The National Theatre of Scotland (NTS) has announced its plans for the remainder of 2010, which include a presentation of Gregory Burke's acclaimed Black Watch at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow (September 15 - October 9) and at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre (October 13-23). These two engagements, which will feature the original creative team and a new cast, will precede a U.K. and international tour of the show.

Also on the theater's schedule for the coming year is The Strange Undoing of Prudence Hart, a new site-specific work from David Greig and Wils Wilson. The theater will tour this piece, which combines ghost stories, theater and music, to intimate venues in Jedburgh, Ullapool, Coatbridge, and Berwick Upon Tweed, among others.

NTS will also produce Bryony Lavery's new play Beautiful Burnout, which focuses on a group of young boxers. The production is scheduled to play at Edinburgh Festival Fringe (August 4-29), before touring to Tramway, Glasgow (September 2-11), and York Hall, London (September 16 - October 2), with further tour dates to be announced.

Rounding out the theater's programming will be a co-production with Random Accomplice of the final part of the Little Johnny trilogy, Little Johnny's Big Gay Wedding (June 1-12), which will be presented at Langside Hall in Glasgow, and a to-be-announced commission for Edinburgh International Festival.
