Time Out Group Acquires WhatsOnStage.com
Time Out Group has acquired the U.K.-based theater news website, WhatsOnStage.com.
The website will continue to be run by managing and editorial director Terri Paddock, and have what is described as “a separate but complementary brand within the Time Out Group.”
In an article on the acquisition that is posted on WhatsOnStage, Paddock declares, “We relish the opportunity to communicate our passion for all things theatre to a much wider audience across a range of devices, and we see enormous potential in working with Time Out in growing our already successful Theatre Club, annual Whatsonstage.com Awards and other properties.”
