Menier Gallery to Present World Premiere of Song of the Seagull

The Menier Gallery is set to present the world premiere of Song of the Seagul, adapted and directed by Young Vic Genesis director Linnie Reedman, March 15-31.

Based on real events and characters, this fictional musical drama tells of Young Anton Pavlovich Chekhov, who, surrounded by Bohemian artists, is lured away from the medical profession and begins to take his writing seriously.

The performance will be accompanied by live, original music by composer Joe Evans. Casting will be announced at a later date.
