The Band Wagon, Coco, Mexican Hayride Set for Lost Musicals’ 2011 Season

London’s Lost Musicals has announced the lineup of tuners which it will present at Sadler’s Wells’ Lilian Baylis Studio as semi-staged concerts in 2011, according to a report on Whatsonstage.com

The company’s first offering will be the Arthur Schwartz, Howard Dietz and George S. Kaufman revue The Band Wagon, to run March 27 – April 17, which features such songs as “Dancing in the Dark,” “I Love Louisa,” and “High and Low.” Andre Previn and Alan Jay Lerner’s musical biography of Chanel, Coco, will follow, running May 15 – June 12. The final Lost Musicals presentation for 2011 will be Mexican Hayride (June 5 – August 7), a 1944 musical about a hapless racketeer that has a score by Cole Porter and a book by Herbert and Dorothy Fields.
