Sean Campion, Gemma Reeves, et al. Set for Dead School at Tricycle

Livin’ Dred Theatre Company’s production of Pat McCabe’s The Dead School will play the Tricycle Theatre, February 22-March 13. Padraic McIntyre will direct the production, which toured Ireland in 2008 and played a sold out run at the Ulster Bank Dublin Theatre Festival in September 2009.
Set in Ireland in the 1970s, the play concerns a clash between two schoolmasters, one devoted to traditional teaching values, the other who makes rules only in order to break them.
The cast will include Tony and Olivier Award nominee Sean Campion (Raphael Bell), Carrie Crowley (Nessa Bell/Miz Evans/Others), Peter Daly (Fr Stokes/Little Beggarman/Others), Gemma Reeves (Marion/Miss Kearns/Others), and Nick Lee (Malachy Dudgeon).
