Rosamund Pike will play the title role in Henrik Ibsen’s Hedda Gabler, which will launch a U.K. tour at the Theatre Royal Bath, running February 23 – March 6. Adrian Noble will direct and Anthony Ward will serve as production designer.

Subsequent engagements will include Brighton (March 8-13), Richmond (March 15-20), Nottingham (March 22-27), and Oxford (March 29 – April 4). It is expected that the production will then transfer to the West End.

The company will also feature Tim McInnerny, Robert Glenisterwith, Colin Tierney, Anna Carteret, Zoe Waites, and Janet Whiteside.

Pike’s West End credits include Hitchcock Blonde, Summer and Smoke, Gaslight and, most recently, Madame de Sade, opposite Judi Dench. Her screen credits include Pride and Prejudice, Die Another Day, The Libertine, Fracture and An Education.
