Patty Jamieson, Jacquelyn French, et al. Set for Canadian Premiere of The Light in the Piazza

Patty Jamieson will play Margaret and Jacquelyn French will play her daughter Clara in the Acting Stage Company’s production of The Light in the Piazza, to run January 30 – February 21 at Berkeley Street Theatre Downstairs in Toronto. Robert McQueen directs this Canadian premiere, which will feature musical direction by Jonathan Monro.

The Tony Award-winning musical has music and lyrics by Adam Guettel and a book by Craig Lucas, which is based on the novella by Elisabeth Spencer.

The company will also feature Christina Gordon (Signora Naccarelli), Jeff Lillico (Fabrizio), Lee MacDougall (Roy), Tracy Michailidis (Franca), Michael Torontow (Giuseppe), Becca Zadorsky (Maid), and Juan Chioran (Signor Naccarelli). The creative team will include Phillip Silver (scenic and lighting design) and Alex Amini (costume design).
