Alec Baldwin, Alfred Molina, Carey Mulligan, Meryl Streep, et al. Among BAFTA Nominees

Nominations for The BAFTA Awards have been announced. The awards will be presented at a ceremony to be held on February 21.

Stage veteran Carey Mulligan has received two nods for her work in An Education (which received a total of eight nominations): one for Leading Actress and one for the Orange Rising Star Award.

Other stage actors who received acting nominations include Alec Baldwin (It’s Complicated), Anne-Marie Duff (Nowhere Boy), Colin Firth (A Single Man), Anna Kendrick (Up in the AIr), Christian McKay (Me & Orson Welles), Alfred Molina (An Education), Meryl Streep (Julie & Julia), Audrey Tautou (Coco Before Chanel), Kristin Scott Thomas (Nowhere Boy), and Stanley Tucci (The Lovely Bones).

Jesse Eisenberg, Nicholas Hoult, Tahar Rahim, and Twlight star Kristen Stewart round out the Rising Star nominees.
