Casting is now set for Shear Madness, to play Town Square Las Vegas, with previews beginning December 25 and an opening date of January 2. Bruce Jordan will direct.

Created by Marilyn Abrams and Bruce Jordan, Shear Madness holds the Guinness Book record as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd longest-running play in the history of American theatre. This topical farce is a comedy whodunit in which the audience must help solve the murder of a famed concert pianist who lives above the Shear Madness hairstyling salon.

The cast will feature Chris Tarjan as Nick Rosetti, Robin Long as Barbara DeMarco, Tracey Adams as Mrs. Schubert, Joe Ditmyer as Eddie Laswrence, Enoch Augustus Scott as Tony Whitcomb, Nick Caruso as Mikey Phillips / Understudy, and Christie Maturo as Understudy.

Shear Madness currently has three permanent productions in the United States: Boston (1st), Washington, DC (2nd), and Chicago (3rd), as well as international productions running in Spain, Greece, Poland and Seoul, Korea.
