Ernie Curcio's Sundrops and Unfinished Set to Play at the KGPA

The Katherine Gianaclis Park for the Arts will present two of Ernie Curcio's new works, Sundrops and Unfinished, June 19-27. There is a suggested donation of $10.00.

Sundrops, directed by Daneal Doerr, centers on Strand, a young girl grieving for the suicide of her best friend and lover, Evert. When she is visited by a German girl named Dabda, who leaped to her death while Evert and Strand were vacationing in Berlin, Strand must take the steps to come to terms with her loss. The cast will feature Erica Griffin, Natascha Negro, Ryan Remark and Derrik Swinson.

Unfinished is a solo work that follows Kyle, who is in the midst of suddenly losing his best friend, an up and coming visual artist, to suicide. He is holding a seminar to delve into her final painting, to get to the bottom of whether her last painting is finished or unfinished. Erik Amblad will play Kyle, with Mundana Ess-Haghabadi at the helm.
