WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Featuring music by Charles M. Smalls and a book by William F. Brown, The Wiz is a musical based on The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. This hip, soulful version is a multicultural journey that follows this well-known and beloved story of courage, brains, heart and home, through a fusion of multimedia, special effects and fresh orchestrations that will incorporate contemporary musical idioms.
