Cirque Du Soleil’s Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour officially opened its limited engagement at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on December 3. The show continues at the venue through December 27.
The show combines dance and music to immerse audiences in Jackson’s creative world, giving a glimpse into what might have inspired his work. The piece is performed by a company of 60 international artists and feature Jackson’s powerful, inspirational music and lyrics.
Among the guests at the opening were Criss Angel, Jenna Dewan, James Gandolfini, Edi Gathegi, Sandra Gonzalez, Berry Gordy, Jackie Jackson, Tito Jackson, Allison Janney, John Landis, Justin Long, Kevin McHale, Alex Meraz, Aaron Paul, Mark Salling, Harry Shum Jr., and Channing Tatum.
Since the show’s opening, other notable attendees have been Beyonce and Jay-Z, Cee Lo Green and Sarah Hyland.
