The Onyx Theater has announced a new weekly stand-up show, Short Bus Comics, set to run at the theater every Friday night at 11pm beginning October 10.

Produced and hosted by Roman the Serial Killer Comic, the show will star local oddball comedians as an alternative to the mainstream comedy in the city. The show will be 18 and over due to nudity and mature themes.

The upcoming October 10 show will feature Cathe B. Jones as Emcee for the evening and the line-up will include Geoff Grant, The Interloper, James and Soul Brother Rickie, Tom Matthews, Johnny Morris, Slammin' Sammy, Shorty 7Ft, Gregory Stevens, Christina Vincent, Jim Waters, and Timothy Williams. Acts for other shows will be announced at a later date.
