Cirque du Soleil, Second City, Blue Man Group, et al. Set for Elizabethan Benefit at Onyx Theatre

Onyx Theatre and resident acting ensemble Insurgo Theater Movement have announced their upcoming benefit, Elizabethan, celebrating the 2008-2009 season, to be held August 26.

Performers from Cirque Du Soleil, Second City, and The Blue Man Group will take the stage alongside the The Sin Sity Sisters, Insurgo Theater Movement, Sugar Puppy, Westwood Dancers, Dave Atell’s The Gong Show, and many others for the benefit. There will also be food and drink, and a silent auction.

The upcoming season at the Onyx will include work from Cockroach Theatre, Atlas Ensemble, and two California Companies.
