Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular Actors to Perform at William Waldrop and Robert Williamson Benefit Concert August 8

Actors from Phantom: The Las Vegas Spectacular will perform in a benefit concert of William Waldrop and Robert Williamson’s music, entitled Listen to Our Song, to be presented at the Clark County Flamingo Library Theater on August 8, at 1:30pm.

The concert is being presented by SinCityQSocials, with all proceeds benefiting Golden Rainbow, the local non-profit organization that provides housing and financial assistance to Southern Nevadans living with HIV/AIDS.

Waldrop, who is the assistant conductor for Phantom first met lyricist Williamson on the national tour of Cats three years ago. They have since collaborated on a number of projects, which are currently in development — Red Rover, Oktasha: A Legend, and Pandemic! A Mini Flusical. The cabaret-style concert, with musical direction by Waldrop, will feature a cast of ten singers and dancers and an eight-piece onstage band. Courtney Combs will choreograph.
