The Venetian Las Vegas presented a special screening of the film adaptation of Rock of Ages at Landmark Cinemas on Wednesday, June 6.
Based on the Broadway musical, which continues to perform at the Helen Hayes Theatre, the film focuses on a rock club in Los Angeles, and has a score that includes the hit songs of such iconic rock groups as Def Leppard, Foreigner, Journey, Poison, REO Speedwagon, and Twisted Sister, among others.
Directed by Adam Shankman, the movie features Malin Akerman, Alec Baldwin, Mary J. Blige, Diego Boneta, Russell Brand, Bryan Cranston, Tom Cruise, Paul Giamatti, Julianne Hough, and Tony Award winner Catherine Zeta-Jones.
Attendees at the screening included Matchbox 20’s Rob Thomas with wife Marisol Thomas, Padma Lakshmi, Dylan Lauren, Irina Shayk, Lisa Ling, and Sean Lennon.
