Laura Bell Bundy to Perform "Giddy On Up" at Academy of Country Music Awards

Tony nominee Laura Bell Bundy will perform her song “Giddy On Up” at the Academy of Country Music Awards, according to a report on People.com. The ceremony, hosted by the previously announced Reba McEntire, will be held on April 18 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas and will be broadcast live on CBS.

As previously reported, the song is one track on Bundy’s forthcoming Achin’ and Shakin’ CD that will be released on April 13. “Giddy On Up” was initially released as a single and as an online music video.

Bundy received a Tony Award nomination for her role as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde and also starred on the show’s national tour. Her other stage credits include Wicked, Hairspray, Ruthless! The Musical, Gypsy, and The Sound of Music. She also starred on the CBS daytime series Guiding Light.
