Girls Night: The Musical to Make Las Vegas Debut in May

By Andy Propst • Mar 23, 2010 • Las Vegas
Louise Roche's Girls Night: The Musical will make its Las Vegas premiere at the Hollywood Theatre in the MGM Grand, running May 6-26. Jack Randle directs.

The show centers on a group of women who get together for a pre-engagement party for the daughter of one of their friends. As they celebrate, they perform such pop anthems as "Girls Just Want to Have Fun," "I Will Survive," "We Are Family," and "Lady Marmalade." Casting for this production will be announced at a later date.

Girl's Night: The Musical debuted in the U.K. in 2003. It opened in the U.S. in 2007 and has toured ever since. It returns to its Off-Broadway home, The Downstairs Theatre at Sofia's, on April 7 and will be seen at the Kimmel Center in Philadelphia, running April 20-May 23.
