Insurgo Theatre Movement Announces Cast, Creative Team for Cartoon

Cast and creative team information has been announced for Insurgo Theater Movement’s Cartoon, set to play the Onyx Theatre, February 20-March 14. John Beane will direct.

In Steven Yockey’s fable about violence, both the cartoon and real-life, terror reigns in Toontown when the sledgehammer belonging to Esther is stolen by Trouble, throwing their cartoon world into chaos. The cast will feature Carissa Berge as Yumi, Tony Foresta as Trouble, Gabriel Gentile as Winston Puppet, Breon Jenay as Akane, Emily Lauren as Damsel, Paul Mattingly as Rockstar, Sara Spraker as Esther, and Matt Pedraza as the Suitor.

The creative team will include Gregg Gerriets (sound), Justin Pyne (original music), and Jenna Wurtzberger (choreography).
